The University of Washington’s second virtual commencement was held June 12, 2021.
The online ceremony, the second in the school’s 161-year history, celebrated the Class of 2021 with graduates and their families and friends watching the ceremony from more than 30 countries with translations in nine languages. UW President Ana Mari Cauce presided as nearly 18,300 degrees were conferred.
